Torment: Tides of Numenera is the direct successor to Planescape: Torment. This role-playing game is said to be one of the most immersive and realistic within the entire genre. It is themed within the Numenera universe and a future dystopian earth will provide nearly limitless challenges during gameplay. This single-player platform is primarily driven by narratives and the choices of the character.

This platform is an action-packed psychological thriller. The player will have to make choices and these decisions ultimately determine the timeline. Thus, there are no two results alike in Torment: Tides of Numenera. The graphics present within the Ninth World (the main environment) are extremely realistic and these are combined with truly immersive audio effects.
